Kill Fleas on Dogs for Good

Advantix starts off strong and finishes strong when it comes to killing and repelling fleas and ticks. Lab tests have shown significant protection at the end of the monthly application cycle, as compared to other leading flea and tick treatments.

Two potent ingredients work together to make this flea and tick control product an all-in-one solution.

For fleas, imidacloprid works by paralyzing the mouth anatomy which stops the fles from biting within just a few minutes. After a while, because the flea can no longer bite, it eventually dies to leave your dog unbitten and infestation-free.

Ticks and other insects are repelled and killed by the potent insecticide permethrin. Ticks want nothing to do with the chemical, so actively avoid it. Ticks that do make their way onto your dog do not last long.

Once applied, Advantix is water-safe. You can even bathe and shampoo your pet as normal without any significant reduction in effectiveness. Nevertheless, it's a good idea to keep your dog from repeated and prolonged exposure to water.

Dosage

Choose the right strength for your dog's size.

  • Advantix Blue is for dogs 55lbs or 25kg and over
  • Advantix Red is for dogs between 22lbs or 10kg and 55lbs or 25kg
  • Advantix Teal is for dogs between 10lbs or 4kg and 22lbs or 10kg
  • Advantix Green is for dogs up to 10lbs or 4kg

Advantix comes in a small pipette that you apply to your dog's back. Squeeze Advantix directly onto your dog's skin for absorption.

Precautions

Advantix is not for cats and can cause serious harm, including death. Do not use Advantix on a cat.

Households with cats should take serious precautions regarding keeping a treated dog away from a cat for at least a few days. For a few days after the product has been applied, cats that groom a dog or come in contact with a dog and then groom themselves, are at serious risk.
