My Misty ( a bichon-shih-poo) is the barker when she sees other dogs, squirrels, chipmunks or the neighbour's cat. One of my neighbours has called the animal control officer on two occasions re "excessive barking" which is not defined in the by-law.
I just wish we had something that said "10 minutes uninterrupted or 20 minutes intermittently"; at least then, it could be readily handled.
As it is, one bark after 11:00 pm and before 7:00 am can get you a fine.
