on sunday, my jack russell got loose from his harness, and almost lost his life to 2 coyotes, one had his neck the other grabbed his back lower torso, at the same time, a truck parked, scared them, the coyotes dropped him, a neighbor, at the same time,saw Jake going into shock and promptly brought him home. day 5 jake’s recovery is going well. im keeping his punctures drained and applying antibiotic cream, hes been on amoxill 500mg. twice a day… we ran out of amoxill last night, but i have amox/clav 500 mg.(people rx)hes about 12-15 lbs.i need informed advice, a 2nd opinion, on the dosage i should give jake. please help if you have used this med before., i see it listed for animals, jake thanks you as i do. how much and how often.
